The AMEN Ministry was established when some men gathered at the flat of Bro, Robert Dela Cruz near Sheraton Hotel and Corniche Hospital in the evening of May 24, 2005 as they joined in the celebration of Rochelle’s Debut, the eldest daughter of Bro. Robert’s 18th Birthday.
The group of men from ANFGM was headed by our Sr. Ptr. Jun De Jesus with Bro. Eric Angeles. We agreed to form a ministry for the men of our church in Abu Dhabi.
After the celebration of Father’s Day in the church on June 17, 2005 at St. Andrew church, some men proceeded to the old Pastoral House in Tourist Club Area near Emirates Plaza Hotel and organized the ministry for men presided by Elder Ronnel Rosario. Many names were being suggested, but the AMEN name which was suggested by Sr. Ptr. Jun gathered the majority votes. At time, Bro. Jun Santiago was unanimously elected as the head of the newly established AMEN Ministry of ANFGM, Abu Dhabi.

How would you encourage and challenge church goers to impact their service to God through this ministry?
First is to approach personally and invite each man church goer who is not yet a member of the AMEN Ministry to attend the meeting after the church service. In the meeting, we can further encourage and challenge them to participate in all church activities while enjoying a Christian life as a member of AMEN and as servant of God for His glory. As AMEN through trainings and seminars, we are being edified and enriched our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
